You need to see value in things. You become programmed that we should run after things rather than things running after us. Mind of a person determines the heart of a person.
Allow only good things in your life. Romans 12:2 Do not conform yourself to the standards of this world, but let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind. Then you will be able to know the will of God, what is good and pleasing to Him and is perfect.
Never think of yourself highly than you should. You should judge yourself according to the amount of faith that God has given you. Do not compare yourself with other people. If you do so that means you are insulting yourself. Money should not control you instead you should control it. Put God first not money or your riches.
