Pastors know we have to continue to “be the church
Kholwa Magazine, took some time to speak with a number of Pastors since last week and scheduled to talk to more Pastors in the coming days.
While all our Pastor friends are mostly remaining positive online and helping people remember to demonstrate faith over fear, some pastors are struggling. They need help.
There’s a definitely a sense of loss for Pastors.
All their plans they worked so hard for, preparing for Easter service, have diminished with the lockdown.
Buildings are empty. They are preaching to empty rooms, streaming their sermons live through social media (Thankful for the media teams sticking around for the Pastors so far.)
Pastor, we say this humbly to you, none of the future talk matters if you don’t protect your soul.
We will need you to be strong after this pandemic as much as we need you through it.
We are praying for you. Please, get professional help if needed. There’s no shame in that.
